Last week I had the pleasure of attending a conference at Microsoft London, a rather impressive ‘Customer Centre’ which had more sparkly lights than Santa’s grotto. Hosted by Harry Brelsford of SMB Nation, it was designed to coincide with the launch of SBS 2008 and brought together a number of SBSC partners from the UK and Europe.
Highlights included:
– Harry Brelsford discussing how the economy will affect SBS 2008 take-up in different markets.
– Robert Adie from Digital IP sharing his experience deploying EBS internally.
– Jeff Middleton‘s in depth and well researched presentation on SBS 2008 migration.
Perhaps the most useful part of the day was gauging other Partners’ reactions to the new generation of products, seeing what concerned them, and what excited them about SBS 2008.
